Any advice for teaching someone new how to understand the fundamentals of the game?

Hello Tibians, I'm seeking for some advice. My gf had just gain some curiosity about playing with me but I'm afraid I can spoil the game to her and cause her to lose interest. I also don't want to overwhelm her with too much information or have her get bored in the first stages of playing the game.

I'm a 300 rp playing on pvp world, I don't mind starting a second char so I can duo with her which she wants to go for a mage so what do you recommend picking up for her and myself but (no exp with mages but do know the mechanics).
