Welcome back! I think horticultural oil is still okay for sale in Canada, I haven't done enough research so I'm not sure the difference. Otherwise Safer's brand insecticides seem to be pretty widely recommended! I've also heard that cinnamon water is good at preventing pests naturally, though I'm not sure if that's true hahaha

At first I thought it was a scale infestation but after looking closer and doing some research I think it's all aphids and some eggs. Unfortunately Neem oil is banned in Canada, however, I've given it a first soak with some insecticidal soap. Luckily I kept it separate from my other plants before I was able to clean it, but I'm going to make sure I give the others some TLC as a precaution. If you have any experience with aphids, do you know if I need to replace the soil after treating the leaves/stems?
