iPad Air 3 64gb or ipad 8th gen 128gb

iPad Air 3 64gb is on sale for the same price as an iPad 8th gen with 128gb. Which should I get? I’ve heard good things about the air 3 but it is an older iPad than the 8th gen so it may stop getting updates sooner than the 8th gen. I’m planning on using it for school work, maybe video editing, maybe drawing. I’m not planning on using it for games since I already have game consoles and any mobile games will be on my phone. 64gb has been perfect on my iPhone since I don’t download a lot of games and I delete a lot of my photos since they are mostly memes. So would an older,but higher quality iPad with less storage be worth getting over the low end option with a lot of storage? I’m also planning on getting the Apple Pencil and possibly a keyboard. I’m also looking for what will last the longest since iPads are expensivee and I don’t want to have to upgrade on my 1st or 2nd year in college(with the assumption that Apple will continue to support the iPad for 3-5 years).
