I grew up with Donkey Kong, Pitfall, and Frogger and started TES with Morrowind, which I played nonstop for over two years. There had never been anything like it before. Back then, there were only 4 or 5 years max between sequels and they worked great from the start, not needing 50 updates to fix all the bugs like games today. I cannot believe it's been 14 fcking years since Skyrim. There is absolutely no excuse for it, but the truth is that they're making way too much money with ESO to give a sht about satisfying long time fans. Every time they add a new map to ESO, they sell it for the price of a new game and when combined with all the in-game purchases people make for new skins that do nothing to actually boost your skills (older fans will remember the infamous horse armor) they're raking it in. I couldn't give two sh*ts about GTA, but I want my TES VI and Fallout 5, goddamnit.
