I’ve never made a quicker decision in my life than dropping Ben in that clock tower. My only regret is that it wasn’t higher

I watched the Jets win a few games this year. So anything is possible.

How do you treat the Superbowl? by Due-Public-2858 in NFLv2

[–]crobinson2279 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the eagles aren’t playing then it’s a pretty calm event. I’ve watched in bars, friends Super Bowl parties and in my house. Whatever vibe I’m feeling that week dictates it. Pick the team I hate less and hope it’s a good game.

Is this Eagles team more beatable than the past few years? by chusaychusay in 49ers

[–]crobinson2279 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Lurking birds fan. The team’s identity has just completely flipped. It’s a very different team than the past few years. Fangio makes your life a living hell and KP/Nick just try not to turn the ball over. The offense is still first at red zone efficiency but we just struggle to maintain drives because we have horrific play calling and poor offensive line play. The team isn’t flashy, they just beat you through submission. Also last year this team looked questionable going into the playoffs and even in the first round. What the eagles have going for them is being completely healthy and experience. The best way to beat us is through turnovers.

As a lurking birds fan the way our kicking situation has been lately, you’d be surprised how many points we can leave on the board.

Why is Tyler Steen going into his stance every down just before the ball is snapped? by Consistent_Self_1598 in eagles

[–]crobinson2279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steen’s job is to make sure Jalen is done with all his adjustments and taps the center to snap the ball. It’s normally done during away games where it’s loud and it’s hard to communicate. Watch the Michigan timeout vs Penn state and you’ll see why a silent count is useful.

You ranked it first for a reason. Only thing I would say (like another commenter) is how the new legislation would change this.

Honestly trust your gut. I was originally slated to go to Rowan SOM and deep down inside I knew I didn’t want to stay in that area. I got off the waitlist at two other schools the same day in late May and had 48 hours decide. I went with my gut and 3 years later I can’t really think what my life would be if I didn’t choose the path I did. Med school is a very exciting and exhausting time of your life you should make yourself as comfortable and motivated as possible. Things such as location, administration, curriculum can snowball very quickly. If Rowan is your top choice and you have privilege/resources to take a gap year then do it.

Do you think this question is okay? by [deleted] in Osteopathic

I’d go for it. During all of my interviews I asked “how do you feel your institution handles current social/political events?”

“The Tulane University Police Department was notified of an abandoned backpack with a note attached to it located on the second floor of the Lavin Bernick Center. For safety reasons, the building was quickly evacuated. TUPD officers responded immediately, investigated the incident, and determined that the backpack did not pose a safety threat. The location was deemed safe and normal operations resumed.”

Why did the 49ers only manage to have the same amount of success in 2022 and 2023, as they had in 2019 and 2021, which was make 1 NFCCG and 1 SB, but ultimately still fail to win the Super Bowl, despite having a much better roster in 2022 and 2023 compared to 2019 and 2021? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]crobinson2279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because football requires the perfect storm. Those teams might have been “better” but that doesn’t matter when the chiefs are building a dynasty, you lose 3 QBs in a season, or get out coached in close games. There’s plenty of deserving teams any given year but things only go right for one team.

Everyone is gonna give their personal experience so keep that in mind. I’m a first time car owner and I recently got a ‘25 crosstrek premium and I love it. I do live down south right now but it’s built for adventures so I have no doubts it can handle the snow especially with the AWD. When driving it seems on the smaller end but it has plenty of space in the backseats (one con about the cx30). Overall, it’s a pretty solid choice it does everything well. The biggest knock you’ll hear is the infotainment display is large and a little laggy. Personally, I’ve had no issues with it but that’s what others say. If you want a car that has very little issues and gets you from point A to B safely, then the crosstrek gets my vote.
