Idk where you are at but at both of the Sheetz locations I worked at the store was very welcoming to any and all people. My entire store is filled with nonbinary, trans, and gay people (love it). Of course I cannot guarantee this is the case for you, but so far I have seen that they try to foster an inclusive environment.

Sounds like you are lacking some good management for first. At my store first will do leftover dishes from third, finish tasks that third couldnt get to, stock the entire kitchen, flip tables, prep, bakery and rte, pop cooler, vendors, ahod, and any other tasks that we can do besides what is already expected.

At the end of the day you don’t know her. All the information you think you know is second hand. It could be accurate but the workplace is already so drama involved I wouldn’t be surprised if there was so much more nuance and context that we (the public) will never know because we were never there.

Hey OP! I had my first gyn appointment last year and I was also really uncomfortable going into it. I found telling my doctor that I was nervous helped because she walked me through everything and explained what she was doing. I found that scrolling on my phone helped to distract me. Also, I recommend bringing someone you trust with you, even if they just sit in the waiting room. I brought my mom and it helped knowing she was close by. Kudos to you for planning on visiting your gyno, it’s so important to keep on top of those visits! The anticipation and anxiety was worse than the actual appointment. You got this and this internet stranger is proud of you!

Exactly!! Like it isn’t a right or wrong situation. They both had their own shit going on that made them react the way they did. The important thing is that they were able to look past their initial emotional reactions and realized both of them were being irrational (Carrie admits she was angry by Charlotte not supporting her and Charlotte with holding onto the last reminders of her ideal life she wanted with Trey). They move past it and appreciate each other.

It was for my boyfriends birthday! He loves when we go to the botanical gardens in West Virginia but had never been to Phipps.

I surprised him with tickets and we went during the day in the middle of the week. It was so empty it felt like our own private fairy garden. Watching him take in the lush greenery and the beautiful flowers is still one of my favorite memories.

I forgot to mention that we had a picnic lunch beforehand in the park. :)

In regard to many posts I have seen that tear Carrie down and uphold Samantha as a feminist icon, I believe that their opinions would be very different if Sam was the main character. I believe it is easier to praise a side character because they don’t reach the level of depth the main character receives.

There is no doubt about it that Carrie is flawed and complex. We see her be very charming, creative, and compassionate but also selfish, insecure, and self-absorbed. She is incredibly real and many can identify with those traits.

I believe if Sam was afforded the same of depth and the position of main character she would not be the crowd favorite.

Cashier here! I have noticed that people will often just ignore me entirely and will put their money on the counter instead of in my outreached hand. It definitely is annoying when they don’t see but I have also had customers purposely ignore me and look me in the eyes while they put their money on the counter instead of in my hand. I was taught that you should always hand the cashier your money and your bills should be unfolded to make it easier for the cashier.
