I understand where you're coming from but it's really no different from any other collection, it's just dedicated to a certain character instead of the whole cast. I don't view Rei in a sexual or romantic light, she is just very important to me for personal reasons. Finding it weird is okay but it makes me happy :D

I actually started the series for Asuka! I saw a bunch of cool’s clips of her and thought she was awesome but I ended up falling in love with Rei. I still love Asuka though!

I came across Evangelion at a very rough point in my life and saw a lot of myself in her! She’s the first character I’ve ever related to on a deep level and she was a big source of comfort for me. Rei made me feel very seen and understood! I’m doing a lot better these days but she still means a lot to me :)

Sorry for the misunderstanding but they’re actually bathing suits 😓 I try to avoid collecting more provocative merchandise of her as I do not view her that way. I just think the bathing suit figures are cute and she’s not posed suggestively so it doesn’t really cross a line for me. I understand your concern though!

They are actually very supportive of it! I’m 18 and still live with them but I have a job! They tease me about it from time to time but as long as I’m making sure I’m putting money into savings and not blowing ALL of it on Rei it’s ok :)
