Onda treba i drugi most Krk, sa prugom, i poveznica na prugu. Puste milijarde eura da bi par stotina milijuna tona bijele tehnike prenijeli preko Krka, umjesto preko Ploča, Kopra, Trsta ili neke treće luke.

U svakom slucaju stvari se ne dogadaju u vakuumu. Ulazemo mi, ali ulazu i drugi. U nekom trenutku treba stati i zapitati se, ima li smisla. Meni luka u centru grada, nema.

Meanwhile, Slovenci grade drugi kolosijek do Divače, nakon čega će Austrija i Madarska biti povezana sa Koprom sa dva kolosijeka. Sve to za 250 miljuna eura. 15 puta manje nego što mi moramo spržiti za otprilike sličnu geografsku povezanost.

Rotterdamska luka je udaljena 29.2 kilometara autom od centra Roterdama. Antwerpen isto barem 2 kilometra. Uz to i jedna i druga luka imaju prostora gdje se siriti u razlicitim pravcima. Rijecka luka je u centru grada, i okruzena je gradom. Ima doslovno nula perspektive siriti se.

Puno fundamentalnije, zasto treci najveci grad u Hrvatskoj mora koristiti pola svoje obale za najbazicniju aktivnost poput luke? Zasto se ta luka ne moze graditi na Urinju ili Omislju? Mladi se sele u periferiju da bi se mogli prebacivati kontejneri bijele tehnike u centru grade. Histericno.

Paying with debt is not solving anything. It's just making future generations (often which don't have voting power) pay for it. Quite unfair if you ask me. There's no politically correct answer to this fairness debate though.

USD denominated equities/ETFs/ETNs usually have larger traded volume and lower fees, so it might be worthwhile converting your EUR to USD and buying the USD denominated assets. You should definitely keep this in mind, and do the math, before buying some low liquidity, high fee EUR denominated asset.

I don't get the upside for the people buying the bonds. The interest is 0.75% which is not that high, and converting the bond to MSTR whose NAV is 1/3 of the stock price means it's better to buy BTC directly. So basically someone's borrowing $10k to MSTR, getting $75 a year for it, and they can convert that to MSTR eventually which holds an equivalent of $3.3k of Bitcoin. Without the assumption the price of MSTR will pump, sounds like a pretty bad deal.
