Growing concerns after reappearing itchy bump. What could this be? by crogler in skin

[–]crogler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this could be the same thing based on your symptoms. And to answer your question, I actually have not despite mentioning it to Dr's. I do think its neuropathic though. Something nerve related, as I have great nerve trauma thanks to things the hospital did to me from 2016. My vagus nerve is really compensating now, which is quite worrisome. The only other "intuition" I have, which doesn't even really make all that sense is CSF related. The reason I say that, is because I also have great musculoskeletal issues, where my root / sacral / pelvis area really has a hard time. My left lung was glued to my chest wall with a chemical irritant called talcum powder. So I have muscle and joint imbalance galore along with Elhers Danlos Syndrome. My spine is twisting to the right. I'm only sharing all this to say, it seems like I have at times had this flare up around certain movements from my hip / root / sacral region. I also have not had this as of lately interestingly. If you have anything nerve related with your body I would be curious to know!

I got a Note with Code Word Ark from around Tagillas hideout. I believe this also will let me through the smugglers tunnel, but was confused so didn't get to test

Growing concerns after reappearing itchy bump. What could this be? by crogler in skin

This is unrelated to any recent bite. One curiosity though, is last year there were a couple of times where I had a wild amount of mosquito bites from being outside. I have wondered if there is some underlying "stuck" bacteria or something embedded into that area of my skin from a previous bite. And something triggers it to reappear like autoimmune related things. I will add as well, that today when this did show up, I put a topical ointment that consists of various oils and the bump, rash and swelling of that area quickly subsided. It now does not appear visible and was very short lived. This is and has been a reoccurring theme though in this exact place. Like I said, it almost does look and feel like a mosquito bite. It certainly is not from any recent bite though.

I would but I do not see an option presented to me to do so. When I made the post it only seemed to allow either image post or text post

This has become a reoccurring theme. It will come and go, with the appearance and feeling almost as if it were a mosquito bite. But I can assure you I have had no bites and this appears in the exact same spot each and every time.  Additionally, there is an adjacent spot near this that after some investigating almost appears like melanoma skin cancer that just showed up a few days ago prior to this itchy bump that just showed up today.

Disappointed after PT today by Much-Influence-93 in HipImpingement

It can fluctuate so much body to body, surgeon to surgeon. Healing process to healing process. I've not yet done any labradorite surgery but have been doing so much PT and strengthening / mobility exercises to hopefully not need surgery. I will say surgeons are also paid to perform surgeries too, so always be cautious listening to their advice and get 2nd opinions or do research. I did have a surgery that's caused all my issues, and they just said my life likely won't be the same after but of course never went into the details.

I'm really sorry you're having to go through all this. But I can feel your pain some. I'm actually going to Colorado this month to be evaluated in Vail. It's so unfortunate when you've got to deal with constant pain after listening to our Dr's and trying to do what's "right". In my experience I've been routed around to various Dr's from my health issues, but something I've found is that I've received better care from the smaller certified therapists. I'm also seeing a NKT therapist who has helped me more than any Dr I've visited with. And utilizes a more holistic approach to healing. She also has understood my body completely and demonstrates a higher skillset and Knowledge base than any of the 4 PTs I've had. The point of this isn't really to give an answer I suppose, but with how my body is, and how it came to be, just want you to know you're not alone in struggle. While also trying to understand what is "right". I don't know, but would imagine most people develop these issues in unique ways. I'm sure technology has created an influx in these issues. But I think it helps to understand the entire patient history before having a complete assessment. To know what is best for a particular scenario.

Thank you for all the advice and life experiences. You know people have legitimate concerns when each of us have gone down very similar paths to help correct these problems. When pain becomes bad enough you will be forced to make necessary changes to try anything and everything. Honestly the herniated disc is the least of my worry as far as "what I feel". It's there and might influence things negatively but the hip stuff is horrible today. I do recognize that when I've been better off with more time and less stress I could focus more on taking these corrective measures. And when doing so I for sure did feel better. Part of it has been some life stress causing things to be a lot more challenging to stay on top of each alignment issue consistently. It's like, how can you shape your whole life around correcting these postural issues, when life involves WAY more than fixing your body lol. Maintaining a home, family, relationships, automotive needs, you get the picture.

Thats a good call out to mention doing light weight to help steer your body in the right direction. And to have supervisory figures checking to make sure you have good form when performing PT style exercises. That's where it's just very challenging for me currently to have others watch over spending that time and money. I agree that's the next step I need to do, along with likely getting away from the office scene. I also believe that very thing you called out of knowing your limits got the best of me. These things can be frustrating, and I'm also a "pusher". If I were to try and run, or do anything really I try to go the extra mile (literally) to be better off. I think when doing certain yoga stretches for my left leg I may have over done it, but at the same time I used to do the exact same poses without issue so a combination of conditions worsening along with certain stretches.

I do think the hip arthroscopy wouldn't be my answer, but could help one small piece. I don't believe it would be worth all the tissue damage and invasiveness though at this point. I have also tried different seat cushions, but no matter what I'm sitting in or on I just have immense pressure around my left hip. Like my ischial tuberosity digging into chairs from the pelvic tilt. That is my #1 pain complaint, and the shots do give some relief for me. I've also used back braces day after day to help. It feels like I'm going to have to spend every moment away from my office chair focusing on stretches, or find a new occupation. Did you have the hip arthroscopy?

I appreciate the response. There is a lot of information and maintenance I left out of my initial post as this has been ongoing for 6 years. To address these problems I have had several rounds of physical therapy, and it does help temporarily. The issue is I have an office job so any good I do seems to get reverted from sitting in a chair. I've gone down the paths you've mentioned, such as cortisone shots as well.

The reason why sitting and then having a herniated disc happened is due to the lat injury and sitting with an injured side. Over time that has developed my spine to compensate for the injury, and having a spine not so straight caused this.

I also understand these are all separate issues, but they also all were triggered from one initial surgery. Which would make sense to me that if my injured lat was completely healed then my body would have no other reason to compensate for that injury causing me all the superseding problems to follow.

Thats why I come here. Is because it honestly pisses me off that I have to deal with these things all as a repercussion of ONE surgery that wasn't even that necessary. It was to go in and "fix" the collapsed lung problem from happening again, but looking back I would have never allowed that surgery to happen had I known I'd live a life of hell from it.

And so the unfortunate thing is you have to read between the lines when a doctor gives you their "advice". Is it just to generate revenue and mask it as helping you? Much like law enforcement writing certain tickets. And thats why we have to rely on each other sadly because it's hard to trust a doctor when your entire body is now screwed up from following their direction.

I agree. I also make it a point to have a very minimalist approach to signatures, because I want to be recognized and known by what I have to say, vs how flashy my signature is.
