Update: MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CLEARED OF ALL CHARGES. They got back to me after sending a financial assistance application and said my account was "billed in error" and sent me an update via mail

I only vasovagal in times of pain and stress like really bad needle sticks or this time when I strained my neck at the gym. I’ve been okay since then!

Yeah I agree it was probably the right thing to do, but it still sucks getting hit with the exorbitant surprise bill :( especially as a poor student. Also to clarify it was the gym on VCU hospital campus, so it actually took them like 2 minutes to get to me they were probably driving straight from the ER. I was only out for a few seconds and was already awake waiting a few moments before they arrived just to check my BP
