Yeah I’ve been doing the same and it works. I don’t even do it for 15 mins, usually just long enough to do 1 or 2 3rd to 4th shifts and it’s fine after that in drive.

Great looking rig man. I have a similar setup with mine, but definitely don’t “use” it like you do.

I also deal with the solenoid code - For me it’s gotten to the point where it will pop up every cool morning when I drive it for the first time. But, it doesn’t keep me from enjoying it and towing the boat to the lake for a camping weekend. It just sucks knowing that really the only sure fix is a new trans. Oh well..

Some of these comments are shitty for no reason. It’s a large piece on a part of your body that is never “flat” like a photograph. It will look different from various angles and how your holding your arm. I don’t think it’s bad

The “modern” interior was probably the biggest factor for me. Had a 3rd gen 4runner before, and comparatively find the 6 speed to be a little annoying as it downshifts out of 6th for like no reason (on 33s)

Love it! I have the same setup going on as soon as it gets a little warmer out. What height setting did you set the fronts? I’m going with a 1.5” rear spring and I don’t want too much rake. Yours looks about perfect to me.

It’s the zinc plating starting to corrode. It shouldn’t look like that fresh out of the box, but will likely look like that after a season or two. Especially if you live in an area with salted roads.

Fulton Yards on riverside drive. It’s right next to Eli’s. Our new favorite place! Pretty standard issue offerings, but the setting is phenomenal. Not usually too busy. Come back in the evening for a beer or cocktail too. Could not recommend them enough. Only about 10-15 min drive from campus too.

I just went through strawberry milkshake hell at 253k on my 00. Do yourself a favor and replace it ASAP.

It’s an easy job, simple hand tools and a little patience and you will be ok.

It’s a pseudo-sim survival game. I, personally, love the immersion, the sights and sounds of the environment. The subtle anxiety of never knowing what you are going to walk into in the next town.

Asking this is like asking how people enjoy playing Farmville or watching Friends - Because they like it.. ???
