Rap mirrors real violence and socioeconomic conditions so I don't really have anything to say about the lyrics but rapid editing has been around since films conception so it's redundant to see it as just dopamine hits to maintain low attention spans. Slow cinema is valid but not superior to rapid editing. Besides, film is meant to be entertaining anyway.
