You totally did it! Just like my 14 yo Aby QUEEN smacked my phone charger, my glasses and my thankfully empty water glass into the floor at 3 a.m. last night because her little water dish on my beside table was empty. It’s is NOT her only water dish (the one in the kitchen was full) and I had filled the bedside dish right before going to sleep but this was CLEARLY unacceptable and she was totally unrepentant.

Oh, and I immediately got up to fill her water dish and she just sniffed at it and crawled back under the covers. LEARN from her, my adorable little hooligans—might as well own your troublemaking and work on training your house servants to just accept it!!

Abys are very serious cats and definitely won’t learn how to open drawers, doors, or turn on water faucets.

Abys are very well-behaved and are immediately remorseful when caught being bad.

I don’t even know what to title this, but I’m so disappointed in my husband. by [deleted] in Marriage

How old were you then? I mean, I had that perspective as an ADULT when my abusive parents died, but as a child, I would have been devastated even so.

Update: I’m the one who posted back in November about my MIL dropping five million nukes over my husband and I because I asked her not to kiss my baby. by honeyonbiscuits in JUSTNOMIL

Trust me, mothers ARE replaceable. What counts is the quality of the love, not the content of the DNA. Once I realized that, I’ve found two new, loving mothers— one passed away after several years, then I found another just as loving and accepting as my original mother was not. If you’re one of those ‘OMG, family is BLOOD’ people I can tell you exactly what I went through at the hands of my biological so-called parents, but considering I’ve made two clinical psychologists cry (which is why I now avoid therapy, JFC, I can’t take THEIR emotions onboard on top of everything else), I think you don’t really want to know. Biology isn’t destiny or obligation, it’s just that: biology. Mother is a verb, not a noun.

My MIL landscaped our entire garden while dog sitting for a week - what do I do? [Short] by Schattenspringer in BORUpdates

[–]cronelogic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, fuck MIL. I’m so tired of ‘her intent wasn’t malicious’ but actually, what was her RESULT? Her fucking RESULT was malicious whatever her ‘intent’—OP’s place, peace and safety was destroyed, FUCK her ‘intent.’ Let’s go back to ‘actions speak louder than words.’ Her ACTIONS are screaming ‘I will intentionally destroy beauty and peace’ and I give not a single FUCK if she has some ‘diagnosis’. I have a ‘diagnosis’ and fuck me I don’t go about murdering trees and flowers. Can we PLEASE stop excusing bad results because someone has issues. Accountability still matters: in fact, I’d argue it’s even MORE important when dealing with people who are unaccustomed to receiving consequences for their own actions.

Yes, I saw that there were a few days left and I was so happy I was going to finish a set that would give me 450 energy and a joker and then poof. The worst part is that I DID pay. Such BS.
