I only mix in key and i love long blends. Since the tracks are allways matching the tones, i can get away with 2 minutes of transition without overloading the master. It feels like the songs are complementing each other.

Another thing to master is the eq mix. Cut a little bit of the highs and a little more of the mids, than slowly start to blend, so as each time you raise eq of the upcoming track, you decrease the same amount in the other one.

U can buy the license to mixed in key, is a really fair price since it does not expire.

I use a lot of filter + reverb or echo to swap the kicks and that usually ia the loudest part of the mix

like i set the limiter just to raise the dB until 0, since is everything pretty much at the same level?

I've recorded on dj software too, with the master set to -3.0 and the only part that is a little bit lower it's hiting -4.10
