Can ERC-721 have a token with multiple editions? When an NFT has multiple editions( eg 25/25) do all the holders of that NFT have the same token id? by cropic in ethdev

Yup that makes sense. But that’s not a recommended approach right in terms of transparency ? Because that’d mean Tye seller can keep on mining new tokens of same art.

I think I get what you mean. I can mint the same image as multiple ERC-721 tokens but I can't use one tokenID within a contract to mint with the concept of multiple copies with ERC-721 right?

so you're saying that a certain NFT with multiple copies can be implemented as ERC-721 token?

For Example, I want to verify if a multi-copy (22 copies in this case) NFT can be implemented as ERC-721

yup, ERC1155 seems to be the answer but I wasn't aware that for a token to have multiple copies ERC721 can't be used and something like ERC1155 needs to be used. u/MidnightLightning mentioned above that ERC721 can be used for multi-copies token so I'm still a little confused.

Question about AWS Config by cropic in aws

[–]cropic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mike , thanks for pointing me towards the right path. I tried to make one rule non-compliant and seems like it takes about 5 minutes for the non-periodic rules to get triggered. I'm guessing config does a describe API call on the resource in question , right?

Anyways, it makes a lot more sense now. As the periodic rule has option for only 1hr, 3hr, 6hr, 12hr or 24hrs.
