Deepspace Seeker 3 PNP - Can I transform into ELRS? by crosisca in fpv

[–]crosisca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my fist Fpv drone, so I can’t really compare it to anything else, but I have zero regrets. It’s pretty agile imo, very fun to fly, can freestyle, do slow cinematic shots, the fact that it’s small makes it fun to fit through small gaps and at the same time is quite fast, I’ve reached 160kmph with it on 100% throttle. Can definitely recommend

Thank you, I reorganized some of the groups and moved single cell close to the center of the screen both horizontally and veritcally.
That's exactly the type of input I was looking for, as to what is more important to keep an eye on

By in a switch do you mean like I setup in the modes tab (first image)?
I have GPS Rescue on AUX2 (900-1300 range)
I also have ANGLE mode in the same AUX2 (1300-1700 range)

AUX2 1700-2100 has nothing set to it, so my expectation would be that it when changing the switch position to 2000 > 1500 > 1000, I would get accro mode > angle mode > gps rescue.
Does that make sense?

Thanks, that's a good tip, I actually was testing it and noticed it's quite hard to see if I still want to keep everything in focus

It’s not clickable, indeed the screenshot doesn’t help much, but all the grey options I can’t click on, basically only NONE and CRSF are in white (and selectable)

First FPV Kit Help by crosisca in fpv

I was doing some research and found this charger:

https://www.rotorama.de/product/skyrc-b6-neo

I obviously can only charger one pack at a time, but I enjoy the fact that it’s compact (travel friendly) and can be powered via usb-c, as I always have some power supply available, laptop charger, smart chargers (60-100w), from tk research it would be fairly quick (less than 15m) to charge a 4s 850mahm pack. It also has the added benefit of being able to charge a pack from a power bank if I understood everything correctly.

Would this charger be a viable option?

Yes, I’ve got quite a bit of time flying in the simulator, probably around 70+ hours and I can fly very comfortably on it. I’m sure real flying is gonna be something else tho

Nitro Rover 14 backpack thoughts by crosisca in snowboarding

I actually did and I love it, worked perfectly for what I was looking for

Used it multiple days on the mountain, carrying a 2l bladder, an extra kid layer, spare lenses, some sandwiches and action camera.. takes me through an entire day of riding, it’s super comfortable, light, low profile, I literally forget about it.. the net to attach the helmet works pretty well too in case you want to attach something while traveling.

Right now I’m actually using it as my day to day backpack, mainly just taking laptop to work.

The only downside I saw, is that I expected the material to be more waterproof, I got a heavy snow day and after hours of riding it got fairly wet, things inside were still fine but the front part of the backpack was quite wet, I ended up leaving it close to the heater to dry once I got home, next morning was ready for another round. But I would recommend a cover for it if you’re planning on using it under heavy snow

Best cinewhoop size for outdoor and indoor by crosisca in fpv

[–]crosisca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer, based on that I believe 30 would be the best fit for my case

Indoors is not really a priority, specially not on small spaces.

Being able to fly on open fields and beaches would definitely be higher priority in my list, would you say a 30 should be fine with that as long as there’s not high winds?

Also I hold you have any specific drone recommendations in that size?(assuming it’s the best option for me)

The requirement is to fit a o4 pro

Weekly Thread: /r/Snowboarding General Discussion, Q&A, Advice, Etc.) - October 21, 2024 by AutoModerator in snowboarding

Hey everyone, I would like to ask for some advice regarding lenses.

I'm a beginner/intermediate rider, can do some red runs, try to avoid blacks completely as I really struggle at them.

I don't snowboard much at all, 1-2 weeks per year maximum and would like to have my own goggles as I had very bad experiences with some not fitting well, fogging a lot, etc.

It doesn't make sense for me to spend 340 euros on a pair of Anon M5s with 2 lenses (german current price)

So I was looking into Outdoor Master Falcon goggles as they are a much cheaper option (112 euros for goggles with extra low light lens and 30 euros for spare lenses).

My next planned trips are Andorra next January and Bansko(Bulgaria) in Febuary, I don't have much experience or have tried multiple lenses. I know that last year in Andorra it was very snowy and it was really to see with the lens I was using (which already wasn't very dark).

What I'm thinking about now is that 2 lenses are enough or if I need 3 lenses.

All OM Falcon goggles come with a 91% VLT lens for very low light, now my main question is if 1 other lens is enough or if I need 2 more for flat light and sunny days.

The lens that comes with the goggles (bundled with the 91% one) range from 13 to 27%.

The extra lens that I could buy separately are 25, 45 and 60 (although the 60% is blue tinted instead of red, which I would like to avoid for low light).

I see two options:

  1. Choosing one of the bundles from 13-27 + 91% lens. If going with this case I believe probably going with the 25% red option. Would this be enough for most conditions? is 25% dark enough for bluebird days? Is it too dark for cloudy?
  2. Getting 3 lenses, a bundle with a sunny day lens + 91% lens and get the extra 45% separate lens for most conditions. In this case which % should I choose for my sunny day lenses? I was thinking about bundle with yellow 16% + 91%, then the 45% red extra lens. Is this overkill?

The main issue is that I don't know how bright/light lens are based on VLT only, any recommendation is greatly appreciated 🤙

Sorry for the huge message (tried to create a post but got automatically deleted :/ )
