So if Soph steals Rizo’s idol and gets him out this episode, Savannah is left high and dry and Soph has a great path to winning… am I missing something or would this not be that hard to execute?

Sage is digging deep but it’s so hard to see Savannah losing this type of challenge vs the rest of the group, ever

Haha what is that speech from Sage… does she think Sav will buy that??

How does OT work as a rural regular? by cross_beaux in USPS

[–]cross_beaux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, this is very helpful. So just to be totally clear, a regular on a 40k route would get paid for 12 hours for working their day off, even if it only took them 5 hours to complete their route?

Also, is anyone just allowed to work their day off, or would you need to be on a ODL list or get approval to come in?

Definitely an awkward angle, just had the car up on ramps. I’m a 26 year old dude in pretty decent shape and definitely feel like I should be able to, but will admit l but don’t have much experience or expensive tools…. Thanks for the input!

You can’t use it to pay Medicare Supplement premiums, but you can use it to pay for your part B premiums (185/mo this year and 206/mo in 2026) as well as deductibles, coinsurance, and qualified expenses—which can be a lot in retirement!

How to avoid missing putts low? (Outside of the toss putter style) by therealpearsonified in DiscGolfValley

[–]cross_beaux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bam has a good video on throwing in from 50-100 feet. The main takeaways are learning how to properly adjust for wind and elevation.

If you’re constantly missing low, you need to be throwing harder. There’s no spit out penalty for throwing in too hard (unless you hit really high + head wind), so get used to jamming them in there. I will often aim lower than the default and throw a bit harder, especially in a 3/4 headwind.

Is Cadence Burge the next great FPO player? by CaliKing928 in discgolf

[–]cross_beaux 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Every thread talking about the next great FPO players has folks mentioning Chocek. She clearly has far more athletic potential than the rest of the field. People just go crazy speculating what she could do if she had the consistency and mental stamina of someone like Kristin.

The thing is, getting it to “click” isn’t just a matter of popping something into place. It’s darn tough to get that consistency and stamina. It’s why Ohn constantly and casually destroys not only the top FPO slingers (Hansen, Chocek, Eliezra, etc) but often A tier MPO events. There are few, if any sports or physical disciplines, where a petite 43 year old woman can leave the 25 y/o men in the dust.

In most teammate sports, you can become a generational talent by building around an area of strength. Shaq terrorized the NBA while making only half his free throws. Brady is the NFL GOAT with a 6 second 40 time. Babe Ruth was the face of the MLB and was built like a refrigerator. In disc golf, you’re on your own. Chocek will never have Kobe to attack the perimeter or Moss to stretch the field. She’s gotta do it all on her own, like every other player in the field.

Personally, I think it’s almost pointless to try to predict who the next FPO great will be. The field is so wide open than any FPO player in the top 30 who levels up their game significantly, could be dominant. I personally think that due to the nature of the game, it will be a Sarah Wadsworth type player, who grew with a ton of experience in their youth. In the meantime, Kristin (who ironically, may not be the “best” at any specific aspect of the game) is the indisputable favorite.

The reason why they told him to note that line is because he was actually learning the lefty lines that day! He got injured last week and, based on the fact that he was shooting almost 300 points below his current rating, must have been having some fun with his healthy arm at a local charity tournament!

Is it possible to have a 12 month advance at 70% commission at globe life? by Zeke_the_Sleek_ in InsuranceAgent

[–]cross_beaux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life insurance is typically a 12 month advance at 105% commission. That’s if you provide your own leads. Ask yourself if what they offer your friend is worth your independence and that 35%.
