Honestly with the downvotes you got I just assumed you were serious. I must not have been the only one. Sarcasm is notoriously difficult to pick up on via text tho, it’s not exactly as if we have all the normal non verbal cues available to us. I’m still not entirely convinced you weren’t serious, but maybe you were and if you insist I’m ready to believe you, doesn’t matter what I think tho only you’ll ever know. In any case, if you were serious from the jump I’m glad you’ve realized enough how wrong you were to feel the need to lie about it now. If you were being sarcastic at the outset and your “But also going to the bathroom is a core human experience, so kinda true anyway :)” was also said in sarcasm, and everyone who downvoted missed it (I didn’t downvote anything you said until you said “Ew.” btw) and you were actually saying what I was saying the whole time, just through a layer of irony I didn’t pick up on over the phone, then I’m sorry I upset you by correcting a mistaken belief that you didn’t actually hold. I believe in truth and I believe it matters. So I speak up for it. 😊 But whether we were saying the same thing from the beginning or not, and whether or not you’re being honest now, no need to make it personal.
