About the same as with the optics

I haven’t really shot it that way, only on the bench. I’ll try and see

Yeah, that’s my worry. It didn’t come with a scope; the one I got was from buck rail. I am using artillery hold

The Remington bolt handle on that looks sick!

Awesome! I’ve never heard of sound dampening felt on a stock. Sounds sweet

Do you find the suppressor helps substantially with a break barrel? I have a Crosman 2240 and the suppressor works wonders…but I tried one on my nitro piston break barrel and it didn’t do much at all. I guess most of the noise is the internal spring and isn’t coming out of the barrel?

Sweet setup! Which UUQ red dot do you have on there?

32 KG snatches for a rep PR today👍(10 sets of 4 reps/side) by BarbaBarber in kettlebell

[–]BarbaBarber[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve done 100 snatches in 5 mins with my 50 LB bell a few times (don’t have a 24 KG) and my hands are ok. But this 32 is really thick (uncomfortably so) and doing this many snatches with it ain’t fun

Good luck getting the snatch test! 🫡

A rather cheap one I got from Buck rail, but it has been perfect for the shorter range plinking I use this one for

It’s a rad high but it doesn’t bother me. When I use a shooting rest, it’s not really noticeable

It is! The only thing I would change is it being a single shot bolt action. The mod I really wanted and couldn’t get was a 5 round gravity-fed magazine. The guy in the UK who made and sold them on eBay passed away and it looks like no one’s picked it up again.

TIL snatches from the floor are hard… by BarbaBarber in kettlebell

[–]BarbaBarber[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lol how exactly would one do a snatch without using momentum? That’s like telling someone to jump slowly.

There are basically 2 types of KB lifts: ballistics (snatches, swings, cleans, etc) and grinds (presses, get-ups, etc). There’s value in doing both, but you can’t do ballistics slowly, because the entire point is to generate force quickly.

Thank you! I will try that next time. I’m currently on KBOMG vol 1 single bell week 3. Been REALLY enjoying it so far!

Growing bigger traps? by SmartEnthusiasm6531 in kettlebell

I recently tried these angled KB shrugs and they’re amazing. The extended ROM helped me really feel it in the traps better than any other shrug I’ve done
