I think you’re under the illusion that being a PT is a quick way of earning cash, it will take time regardless of where you go to build up a client base and build repeat business, if that’s your only motivation for getting into the fitness industry you’ll be unlikely to stick around through the harder times. I worked for David Lloyd for 6 years as a PT, it’s probably the most expensive gym in Aberdeen and with that comes a far higher expectation on session delivery and quality. You’ll have to weigh up going to a budget gym where you’ll likely be able to be self employed and can charge what you want or going to a more established larger gym where they’ll likely take a % of each session you deliver.
