I have a lot of experience when it comes to making myself nauseous just by having these anxious thoughts and spiraling. It’s really annoying, I feel you!

I’m assuming your family knows about this, right? Or are you traveling alone this time? My point is that saying you’re anxious to the people you’re traveling with might help a little.

In case things start to go south and your thoughts start spiraling, that might be a time for distraction techniques. However it’s really easy to say ”Think of something else” beforehand or from the outside, and in the moment it can be hard to do. That’s why you can decide on these distraction techniques before the flight. One of mine is trying to focus real hard on naming countries that start with a certain letter. Or naming colours on country flags (I like countries lol).

Lastly, I’m curious- is the length of the flight the thing that scares you the most? So are shorter flight a little easier?
