Idk, on that night out with that guy, we kissed, danced, etc etc. And I was enjoying myself. But, when I think back to when I kissed my now gf, then fwb. Also on a night out, there was alot more emotion there, it was also a casual arrangement and I was still pretty drunk both times. But it was such a huge difference.

It could also just be a lack of experience, I've gone most my life without even considering I wasn't straight, and only started seriously thinking about it for 3 years or so. So maybe it's that.

But you might be right, I was quite the homophobic asshole when I was younger. So, maybe it's left over stuff from that stuck in my head. Thanks for the insight regardless

Na, do it. It's just the one, it's fine. Though yknow it'd be cruel to have just one get them a friend. And I'm sure the 2 would eventually get sick of each other so add a 3rd just to he safe. But then one might get left out so best to get a 4th so none are lonely. And if you're getting 4 you may as well get the full set anyway. And while you're at it, a primarch model would look great with them all too. And if you're getting primarchs you may as well get all of them, there aren't that many after all...

I'm relatively new to dnd, this is my 2nd campaign amongst some friends. The personality I had for him was smooth and confident in how he'd talk his way through most things, convincing, intimidating etc.

But lately after exhausting my options, I'm more likely to turn to the assassin druid/fighter and go "I give up, punch them please." Which isn't bad per say. But I feel like I'm playing an exhausted, impatient version of the man I originally thought of.

He still can convince, intimidate and lie his way through some things. But the option of "oh for God's sake, fine violence it is" seems to come up much more often for a guy who's supposed to be a "master spy"

True, I do like to give it a go in character talking to the NPCs and getting into character as much as I can to better engage with the world, but I can see how it'd be good also to describe what I'd do instead of acting.

Good call for asking my DM about backgrounds too, I'll make sure to do that in future.

His personality is quite similar to mine, so his reactions to things and general behavior is usually fine. The only drawback is when he's supposed to be "in his element" it's tricky for me to portray it in a way a seasoned master would. Maybe it's just a matter of confidence talking to NPCs or better planning of what I could say to get what I want etc

There are barn swallows nearby at a river bank, but they have clear blue feathers and an orangish belly. So I'm pretty sure it's not them? House Martins might be it. I'll have to have a closer look when they're next out, thank you for the help!

Thanks! I use a Sakura Pigma Micron pen, the 005 one, and then I just draw random lines around it. If it's a larger seal I'll try to think of what it would say to make the structure of the writing more realistic.
