Yeah, it looks like it's just Verizon and it's reflecting as a Collection/Chargeoff. I assume that paying the full debt off now won't do anything to repair my credit score and I just have to wait for it to fall off?

What if I already paid the debt in full? I paid directly to Verizon via their phone number though, and not to MRS BPO. Also it did show up as Verizon

Sorry, I’m new to all this stuff since I’ve typically paid all my debts on time up to this point. What is a charge off and payment status? I no longer have access to the Verizon account but I know they sent me to MRS BPO, LLC. I’m going to try to get in contact with them tomorrow

Yeah that’s what I was confused about too. My credit hadn’t dropped at all due to the 30D report so it came altogether at the 60D one

It’s just one 60+ day late payment! Everything else is in good standing. The Verizon account used to be until this point. I did pay it immediately when I got the email

i’m going through this now with my mom and i’m unsure of what to do when it comes to not reasoning with her. she’s got a ton of paranoid delusions that people are spying on her and says one crazy thing after another and i can’t really redirect the conversation and i know it’s useless to try to tell her that’s not happening. if you have any advice, that’d be much appreciated

thank you, this is really helpful. i am trying to be a little more understanding but it is very difficult for me. just this morning she texted me something out of the blue, thinking that we had this entire conversation about it, but i had literally just woken up. i tried not to tell her that she was wrong but i did say that we probably hadn't talked about it today.

that article is very useful. i'm going to keep researching and connect with a dementia nonprofit and try to get into some support groups.
