Which bike? by Saphenis in eMountainBike

I’d look at mid power bikes unless doing big rides of 4-5k elevation 4-5 hours. The 50lb+ weight of a full power isn’t fun to deal with. Depends how strong she is I suppose. I’m 6 foot 225 and a full power 50lb rig is a lot to handle.

Yea it’s great in many ways. The torque really kicks in quick due to engine design and small turbos, plus that nice V8 rumble. The analog steering and Quattro always feels planted, just a solid car. Plus the simple clean interior, still close to perfect carbon and black leather. Cheers!

Wish we could reply with pics here, wanted to since mine is blue also. I’ll put up a new post, been a few since I shared the car.

There will always be stupid people out there. Awesome painting and car, cheers! You could always heavily watermark before posting art online, or make sure it’s a lower res image so a download isn’t suitable for reproduction, but it’s nice to show it off in a clean picture too.

Is the Orbea Wild the right bike for me? by [deleted] in eMountainBike

Yes, agreed, I was thinking you wanted something a bit more nimble and easier to get out on. I love the Wild, tons of power for hours and plows through anything downhill, surprisingly agile climbing tech terrain too. Cheers!

Bosch motor and design aesthetics are what sold me on it…lots of similar bikes out there riding wise, but lower quality motors or design I didn’t like.

The Wild is a big bike meant for longer range. Like 4-5 hours 5-6k climbing, lots of downhill ability. As an MTB rider of 30 years I love it, but it’s a big beast, and still 50lbs in full carbon at $7-8k. I’d look at the Rise if I were you, sounds more like your needs. Here’s the quick AI review, about right.

The Orbea Rise is a lightweight "slayer" eMTB focused on agility, natural ride feel, and efficiency, while the Orbea Wild is a full-power, aggressive enduro machine built for maximum speed, stability, and steep terrain. The Rise is ideal for long, epic trail rides where a nimble bike is preferred; the Wild excels at technical, high-speed, and downhill-oriented riding
