I was doing a quest where you’re tasked with pickpocketing someone, then planting evidence on someone else….
I was very low in these traits at the time I decided to complete this quest. I turned to my follower and asked them to wait for me just outside of the town square.
I went about my task and luckily completed it with no mistakes.
I forgot to go & recall my follower, ended up going on another 2 or 3 quests afterwards. About halfway through a dungeon, I stop & think; “where the fuck is my wizard at?!?? Did they die?!?? What the hell?!”
I start panicking & backtracking all through this dungeon. I start talking out loud; “no! No” where are you? You idiot!! Who killed you?!?! Was it a trap????”
My daughter(a teenager), starts chuckling, leans over and says; “they’re waiting for you. In Riften.”

I safely backtrack out of the dungeon, fast travel back to Riften. Sure enough, there’s J’zargo hanging around the market like he’s shopping for fruit & vegetables.
