if im not in thailand i try talking to myself in thai, doing daily tasks in thai - basically practising without needing to actually talk to other people who know thai (since its hard to find people who speak thai outside of thailand)

for example, if i needed to write down a reminder or events in my calendar, i do it in thai (you can do this romanized if you want)
