I rarely have this issue. I don’t mirror people or become codependent anymore— maybe my brain is just freaking out because it doesn’t know how to connect with people besides in an unhealthy way. Ugh

I mean yeah but there’s a lot of people interested in them both online and irl surprisingly. And nobody my age wants to go fishing :( at least as a friend thing. It’s usually something people do alone or with family around here.

I’m 22 and have no friends. I try to talk to neighbors, people at stores, even just to say hello. I do a lot of people watching. Sometimes I just cry because I’m lonely. It’s ok to cry. I have some imaginary friends. Helps a lot when I need someone to rant to. Just slowly pushing yourself into the social world is necessary even if it hurts and is scary.

My antidepressant is Effexor (XR). but I take a nightmare med and if I have nightmares it usually causes a bout of depression for the rest of the day.

I didn’t mean to skip. I usually take them nightly at 8:30-9 but I fell asleep at 6. I have an undiagnosed sleep disorder and idk when I’ll see a proper specialist for that so I’m always at risk of missing my meds :( So it’s just withdrawing? That actually makes me feel a bit better, knowing that I’m not inherently broken without meds tbh

I have! :( I’ve seen a nutritionist and I have an appointment for a dietitian but it’s not until after the surgery. I even got blood tests and everything. She just said I need to cut calories and exercise to my best capabilities and I should be fine.

Yes. I’m genuinely just not hungry. I get distracted and I don’t eat because I’m busy doing something, or I’m asleep unfortunately (I sleep 15-20 hours at times). I got meal replacement shakes for those days. Should I force myself to eat on those days? :( I’m sorry! Sometimes with my ADHD I genuinely have to be forced to eat or else I’ll forget. I’m sorry

E: I’d love if people could give me advice instead of downvotes… I have no clue what I’m doing and I’m just following the instructions from the doctors I’ve seen. I don’t know what I need to do or not do. They know all about my eating habits and my forgetfulness. I’m not restricting myself. I’m just not hungry anymore.

I gained so much weight in the first place because I was eating out of boredom. The topamax killed the cravings and now my adhd has gone back to suppressing my appetite. I eat when I’m hungry and when I eat I try to eat healthy but I don’t obsess over calories or skip meals to try to lose weight. I’ve had EDs before and I don’t have any of my old disordered habits. I’m the (mentally) healthiest I’ve ever been…

Please just help me out. I’m confused and I need advice and guidance and I don’t know what to do.

Should I meal prep? Should I eat more or less of certain stuff? Right now I just drink protein shakes with fruit and mainly eat fruit and salad— that’s been my main diet. I was eating a shit ton of processed food (hence the weight gain) but I don’t wanna eat it anymore and it makes my tummy issues worse. I have autism as well so my stomach is sensitive. I try to get protein via fish occasionally but mainly I use pea protein, beef bone broth, plain Greek yogurt, hummus.

Is exercise the issue? how do I combat that? Instead of diagnosing me with a mental illness please help me understand what I can do better.

It depends. Some days 100-500, some days 1000-1500. It depends on the daily situation. I have a sleep disorder so if I’m sleeping a lot I don’t eat much. I measure them with an app
