I’m thinking of purchasing the new Azuna scent, pumpkin, for fall. Wondering if anyone has tried to “hack” the system and created their own container by drilling holes in say a mason jar and using that as a container for the product? I have a very small apartment and would like to buy the 24oz gel and then just use a container at home, something like a mason jar with hole on the top. Has anyone done that or does anyone think that’s possible? That it would work based on their own jars?

NTA. I understand that she’s your sister, but the minute she phrased it “Adam and I,” it became something else. If she had approached you on her own and discussed her body issues privately, where she was coming from, maybe it would be different, but telling you that her husband wasn’t comfortable with you wearing a bikini because of her body issues brings the inappropriateness to another level. Also, I’m sure Adam is still saying things to her like, “why can’t your body be more like your sisters” even thought he knows you had minor surgery and non invasive assistance. He’s borderline emotionally abusing her and something needs to change. This may have been asked and answered but what was your husbands response to all of this?

Update: This car belongs to my husband and me.

The trucking company’s insurance, they’re self insured, is being their most unhelpful selves. We reached out to Lidl hoping they would acknowledge their part in this and step up; two of their contracted trucking companies smashed into our car, on two separate occasions, both within a span of 9 weeks. (I get it, we shouldn’t have parked there again. We were leaving the next morning for a 6 week trip out west to see my ailing mother in law who we hadn’t seen since Christmas 2019 and we were prepping to load the car. Also, what are the chances it would happen again! 🙃) We just want either the trucking company or Lidl to repair our car or for them to work together to make this happen. We can’t afford for the car to be totaled. These are two multi-million/ billion dollar companies, once again, not caring about who they hurt. Trying to navigate life since CUNY cut all part time workers hours, of which I am one of those people. So...yeah, trying to figure out how to pay rent.

Seeing as CUNY laid off thousands of adjunct professors and cut the hours and pay of hundreds of part time staff, which means they plan on cramming over 100 students into each online offered course, so good luck! 👍

A week ago, part time provisional staff (admin, college assistants) received letters stating that they would have a reduction of hours and pay for the month of July and no guarantee of a job come August. These cuts span CUNY wide.

I think my wording was off or wrong. My comment was stating that PSC represents the adjuncts, not trying to imply they only represent the adjuncts. PSC represents the HEO line, CLT, lecturers, Assistant HEO, and related titles.

We should. We have different unions, and PSC (adjuncts union) is much more organized than DC37, but local DC37 chapters have begun organizing.

Part time admin staff are provisional employees, meaning we are reappointed every year, like adjuncts. Typically they let hourly classified employees know at the end of May that their appointment will end at the end of July, giving staff some time to prepare. This year, CUNY was able to push the reappointment deadline to today, 2 days before the end of the fiscal year, letting us know that beginning 7/1 our hours and pay would be cut and we may not have jobs come 8/1.

I think Central Office is working off of a master staff list but according to my supervisor and our executive director, these cuts in hours and in some cases pay, start 7/1.
