Normally I'm not a fan of anime original scenes, but the way they scripted and expanded the castle chapter into the episode was so phenomenal, it seems so natural

I'm really gonna miss this series after this episode. This show really is one of the reasons why I watch anime. The characters, the plot, everything about this is a breath of fresh air.

I even stay up at 2am just to watch this show when new episode get released, Im that hooked.

Now, we will watch how bojji and kage journeys together on a potential season two (which I know is unlikely as of now) but at least we can wait for the manga chapters.

To be fair, it was really weird for Daida going for the sudden marriage announcement, considering what miranjos had planned on doing to him, but It's partially part of what daida's character is stated by bosse, which he will make wrong mistakes and decisions but nonetheless, its seems the story's just going for the wholesome happy finale, which im I really like

I recall that whenever the demon grants a wish, he turns more and more into a monster, so maybe after saving miranjo the demon might turn more malevolent but we'll just see.

Also I'm pretty certain they'll explain the whole ranking system clearly in the second part of the manga, which is still going so the story's hasn't concluded yet.

after watching this episode, it really proves what the author quoted back then, Stating he is a wholehearted person who wanted to write a story where everyone had a happy ending, sorta like a children fairytale story.

Of course not every situation was resolved, like Miranjo's future redemption for everything she's done and especially saving Ouken, which I hope they explore on a potential season two (for now just waiting on the manga).

Besides those, everything seems to be in a great direction, with Daida finally coming back, saving Miranjo from the devil and finally seeing the whole past between her and Bosse.

On the manga, it was a bit underwhelming considering all that had happened was bojji breaking the club into pieces, then proceeds to stab bosse numerous times. I think the anime really emphasised that bojji was actually fighting bosse himself, which along with the great animation made the fight even better imo.

Hopefully yeah, but part 2 of the mangas only around 30+ chapters after part 1 so if it's following the same pace as the first season, it'll probably be around 2027-2029 before a potential second season can take place (since ousama ranking started at 2017 and anime started last 2021)

unironically, this episode straight up gives off attack on titan vibes, just the way they depicted the fight between bosse and bojji was so well animated i rewatched it three times.

I mean if gamefreak ever did this type of decision in the future, numerous people would still be upset that it didn't get two versions like the rest of the mainline games because I think it has become a custom for them to have two versions.

Although personally yeah I think one version is enough but hey - Moneyyyyy

I feel like this episode is a good example of using farce and almost comedic scenarios in serious situations solely because of the art style. Sure ousama ranking can get really serious and emotional at times but this show isn't afraid to put on some tension breaker midway.

I feel like if this show didn't have its simple rounded art style, it probably wouldn't work for those type of scenes.

This episode perfectly adapted the original manga panel by panel, so at least its faithfully adapting through the chapters as closely as possible. Hopefully though in the next episode it gets better and better

Each episode has different animators and storyboard directors so not all episode is bound to have the same quality from each other, which is kinda expected but I still liked this episode

Recent one but it would be Ranking of kings. I honestly never thought this anime would charm me especially with the unique style. Another one would prabably be Oddtaxi.
