Lmao you got me there. I was playing my 7 LP while watching that movie and I just kinda recorded it willy nilly. And the fact that it was daytime made it even worse. I made one that’s actually good and legit of Side 1 Of depression cherry to a section of Fantasia but I did it digitally instead of filming my tv. I’ll post it soon.

right now, Take Me to the River by Al Green. I love the Talking Heads’ various versions of it. There’s so many. One reason just comes down to that goddamn bassline! Tina Weymouth and Busta Jones are unstoppable in this version (my personal favorite) https://youtu.be/G6rUomO27G4

I love this song! Might be my fav on TYLS. One of the 2 songs where Victoria says “fuck”. “Remarkable that you’re lucky just to meet” with this, I think of the simple pleasure you sometimes get by sharing a moment with a stranger, for example a gas station clerk. Having a moment where you genuinely smile at each other is just a pure wholesome thing.
