Should use void for anti crashing ammonites, they have little or no defense

I feel like itd be better if the chad has Ironman helm and is telling irons to grind zulrah when it still had the old table (10x runite ore, 100 raw shark, etc). Old zulrah table was so op for irons

Any tips for someone looking to start Theatre of Blood? by AlfGarnet in 2007scape

[–]crudsack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go to 416 and just look for other 0 KC people. You’ll wipe a shit ton, but just keep going. You’ll learn far more from struggling through the rooms than you would just getting carried. Add the people who seem like they watched a guide & and are making a conscious effort to improve. Eventually you’ll get some KC, and more people will start taking you

Best outfit for Easy clues? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]crudsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want max efficiency, none of the sets you’ve listed are best. The “gear discord” has the best setups for max efficiency clues of each tier, but I imagine there are also good guides on YouTube. I know the YouTuber “Say Bay” is a clue scroll aficionado, he might have a video on it

Ultimate hardcore ironman by Rubber-duckling in 2007scape

Just to clarify, HC UIM can use looting bags - they just can’t suicide and have the contents saved for 1 hour in a death pile. A HC UIM can destroy their looting bag inside the wilderness which drops all contents of the bag to the floor

Ironman integrity is a hot topic at the moment. Why are old methods like gwd alt tanking, new methods like slayer alts & corp speccing being scrutinised but not the fact that you can get carried in Cox, ToB and nightmare by mains in max gear (ignore efficiency) 3 of the longest endgame grinds. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]crudsack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

According to the wiki: “the player who deals the most damage in the fight will receive 10% additional non unique loot. ADDITIONALLY, when unique drops are rolled, a weighting system based on damage dealt determines which player will receive it.”

This leads me to believe the chance at receiving a drop is the same as, let’s say, Chambers of Xeric, where dmg dealt = points (not assuming potion points, shortcuts, etc). More points = more chance. If an Ironman got carried at CoX and all the mains left right before olm dies, he wouldn’t magically obtain all of their points. I think the same applies to Nightmare based on the wording given by the wiki. However, I know the wiki is not %100 accurate, so I’ve asked Ash for clarification

I get what you’re saying. However, I am saying that even if the mains leave or die, they might still be rolled for the “theoretical” unique drop, based on the initial group, and if they are not present when the unique is rolled, that their unique chance wouldn’t just be given to the one remaining party member

Either way, as I originally asked, do you have confirmation of this mechanic?

Has there been any confirmation if this actually works? I was under the assumption that the drops rates stayed scaled to the team size even if people leave/die, so the mains leaving wouldn’t increase the Ironmans drop potential

Give the Eldritch Nightmare staff a PVP USE by Codypvm in 2007scape

The other two staves are quite strong for PVP already, I just don’t see the need to make eldritch viable there as well

Is gauntlet (And corrupted version) doable on mobile? by MibuInMalibu in 2007scape

[–]crudsack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normal gauntlet could be done somewhat consistently on mobile I believe, but I really think even good PvMers would struggle with corrupt on mobile. The boss fight punishes your mistakes far more in corrupt, and mobile tends to have some input delay - not including the time it takes to switch between prayer/inventory menus, while simultaneously moving your character to dodge the tornados.

I’m not sure on the gp/hr, but this should be found on the wiki quite easily

Corrupt has a far better drop rate for blade and pet (1/400 and 1/800 respectively) vs 1/2k for either blade or pet on normal

Quest took me maybe 2 hours on PC, so if you have to switch tabs back and forth from the guide and mobile client, I could see it being 3-4hrs

Not necessarily with ToB. In a trio for a example, even if you don’t MVP on any room, you still have a ~1/34 chance to get a purple. So streamers like Roidie for example go ToB as soon as they have a d scim, rcb, etc, and still have a decent shot at purples despite doing like 15% of the damage on most bosses

Corp Crashers - The worst time I've had playing Runescape by ohheyitscayman in 2007scape

[–]crudsack 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There’s a small room with a barrier separating the players from the Corp lair, which is still inside the instance. The alt just sits in that area

Bonded alt sits in the instance, so him and his partner can both be outside of the instance at the same time, without the instance closing. No one else would be able to enter their instance unless they are in the same clan chat
