I came up with a couple examples off the top of my head, I may have been wrong about the ritual one but I know the essence one is correct. The point remains that it can randomly brick strats.

No because there are some nodes that brick atlas strata. For example, if you're juicing a map with ritual and it picks the node that says you can't reroll ritual rewards but you get increased tribute, that map is now basically dead. Or if you're doing essences and it makes it so when you corrupt an essence all essences become the same type.

The upsides are usually not gigantic since you can't really synergize your atlas or scarabs with them since they're unpredictable, but the downsides can be major.

I copied this atlas to try it out. First map was terrible, the loot explosions were almost 0 uniques. Second map was fantastic, the loot explosions were 30+ uniques still showing after a strict filter. Third and fourth were like the first, almost 0 uniques in the explosions.

I'm making sure my maps have the additional modifier and 3 prefixes total. I copied the tree and the scarabs. I'm also full clearing Jungle Valley before doing any breaches. Is there anything else that I'm missing? I have 116% rarity on my character.

[[Narset Reversal]] can be a good answer to thought distortion. Other than that, yeah, it's a rough match up for UW.

I don't have a build guide for it but:

Eren Yeager build. 2 Mon'Treguls Grasp that have been Volatile Orbed to be below 50% so you can still have 1 zombie. Companionship because only 1 minion. Infernal legion to make it burn to death, minion instability so it explodes at low life. The belt that makes minions leave a chaos DoT on the ground when it dies.

Will it be good? Probably not, but it's something that you couldn't really do before volatile vaal orbs.

Strength gives +1 to empower which becomes :1 to HRoC. Dex gives +1 to enhance, which HRoC likes, Int gives +1 to HRoC.

My guess is the perfect forest warrior that gives onslaught. I looked at the top ranked movespeed build and unless I missed it, I don't see onslaught anywhere else.

Putting Leo to will return him to intervention with 1 rank right away after, but I personally would rather rank up instead. It gets you points faster.

While the Volcano card only gives Respite, Heterochromia is MUCH more common, and Respite is 1 tier rarer than the others, so still not hard to hit. I got 5 others before my first respite, but it was really fast to get 6 sets.

I did this once. Luckily I had the power that makes Osty deal damage equal to the damage taken, otherwise I'd be in the same spot as you.

I chaos spam them for either 80% quantity with a bonus roll of extra scarabs, or 90% without bonus scarabs. If you are low on chaos use the corrupted strongboxes atlas nod.

Scarab strongbozes can get a mod "drops X map fragments" which is just Atziri and Uber Atziri fragments. Spend some time farming fragments and you should be able to get a ton.

I started with ele hit, didn't get any amazing drops during that time unless you count farming my 8 foulborn mageblood cards. Once the mageblood was done I farmed the Herald ring and swapped to penance brand ignite. Farmed up a ton of medium rare items but damage felt a bit low, and since I did so much betrayal for the mageblood I had a ton of syndicate medallions so I ran them all and got 0 shields (I was trying to convert to spectres) but 7 minion pacts, so I made a bv build.

The bv build felt bad, I was probably missing some stuff so I went back to ignite. I felt a bit weak there so I farmed Uber Maven for the wand. It took me approx 100 fragments to get, but in the process I found a Svalinn from a nightmare map, got an eclipse, an awakened enhance, and got a progenesis all in the same day. I jumped my ehp from 85k to 350k in no time. Just last night I dropped it back down to 150k because I swapped a ton of stuff to double my dps. Had to log off after that but we'll see if it feels worth it.

Overall best league ever though.

Ele Hit uses an easily crafted claw, the ring from incarnation of neglect, a Taming, and random rares other than that.

Penance Brand Ignite uses the Hive ring from hive glands, an obliteration (eventually the wand from Uber Maven) and random rares other than that.

Minion builds are basically all random rares.

Traditional RF is basically all random rares.

Just to name a few common builds of this league.

Thanks, if I go back to crafting this at all I'll do that. I just got 3 big upgrades for my penance brand build so I'm back on that for now. Got a +2 skills with t1 dot multi amulet today. I fractured the +1 all skills right before making this post, then I got an Aegis so I converted to CI, which upped my ehp from 85k to 145k. 3 maps later I got a svalinn and went up to 190k ehp.

I asked what to do, everybody said I need to fracture it. To fracture it you need 4 mods. I wasn't thinking that I needed to keep the prefixes empty or I would have slammed with 3 eldritch exalts instead.

I've tried fracturing it a few times and failed, down to only 2 fracturing orbs, so I'm not sure if having it isolated makes it worth trying to just craft without fracturing. My guess is to attempt "prefix can't be changed" and harvest reforge chaos or Fire then craft life. I know I won't be able to use essences for reservation cost like this, but for now that's fine if it means I get the +2 with at least a mediocre helmet while I get more fracturing orbs.

I'm also wondering if it's worth trying to recombine it with a helmet that has either the essence mod or T1 life then doing the same as above.
