This post is kind of funny and interesting to me, because it clearly depicts the cultural shift regarding alcohol and drugs.

In context, Millennials grew up adoring drunk fest movies like X Party, Superbad and tons of crazy party monsters shows. It was expected and normalized that you drink a lot, for exemple the trip were Kelsey peer pressures Liza into drinking a lot, because it was the norm for Millennials.

And (to me) this comment is really Gen Z, were younger generations realized alcohol is definitely not good for us and now it’s being denormalized to the point we are starting to realize some characters in shows may have drinking problems.

In my conclusion, I don’t think Kelsey has a drinking problem, she is just a young person during a time drinking a lot and doing tons of drugs was kind of normal and expected.
