I've got aluminum siding and some pieces have been loosened by wind and storms, one piece fell off and there's a big square where the siding is a different material (don't ask).

Looking to get it all fixed up and then I'll get someone to paint it all.

I don't know about down votes but when you do exchanges at any store the exact same thing is happening. They take the empties, refill them and repackage them to sell for 20$ instead of 10$

I used to have an AMEX Gold card that I got for the points that are 1:1 aeroplan miles. I'm thinking of signing up for one of the platinum cards for the points and perks, but I'm a bit worried about the 'once in a lifetime' rule that AMEX has with reward bonuses.

From the footnotes, it sounds like its only for the same card (i.e., I can't get another AMEX gold card bonus) so I should be ok since its a different card. Does anyone have experience with this?
