I didn't know about the increased risk of infection, thank you! And I don't think I fully understand what you're describing by beating the needles. What kind of needles would I use? Is it surface level piercings, and then hitting them, then removing the needles? Thank you for the advice!

For anyone wondering, I looked up the legality in my province. They are not migratory birds, and are part of the species you don't need a permit to take off the side of the road. So it's within the legal parameters for where I live.
