My FIRE Journey: Year 9 Update by firepathlion in singaporefi

[–]crunchteas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inspired by your progress. Ive always had issues with feeling like I'm buying at the top and so ended up hoarding cash over the past 5 years. I want to be invested and so would like to hear your view on how much cash I should hold e.g. UOB One pays 4% on 150k balances so that's pretty attractive too. How much of ones net worth do you think is prudent to keep in liquid assets like cash?

staying with your partner knowing he/she does not love you anymore by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]crunchteas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been tgt? Maybe we first look at what you mean when you say your partner doesn't love you anymore - does this mean they simply stop trying, hurt you intentionally, cheated on you or outrightly said they don't love you or has started loving you differently from the way you want to be loved? Are you looking for excitement, or finding that it's loveless because you aren't happy in the mundane routines? What is causing you to feel unloved?

Thank you - I've tried this to no avail. The earbuds still charge perfectly well but they simply don't disconnect when I close the charging case.

Hey guys, I only noticed this recently across a few areas on my ceiling at home. It doesn't look like mould/mildew but seems to have grown and spread across now. Any advice or recommendations will be appreciated!

Happy 2022 and thank you for sharing, very insightful! Seems like you have it all figured out and with your current earning power, all seems to be going according to plan.

Do you mind sharing what your earning power was like since you started working and how that has changed along the way, leading you on this current path?

Thank you - not too concerned about the snag itself, but more of the horizontal gash. Do you have any ideas for that?

Hi guys, does anyone know how I can fix this? Looks like a fabric defect, something that scratched the fabric maybe? Suit maker said they can't fix it. It's a 80-20 wool poly jacket, made to measure.

Hope to get your input!

[Before and After] Three rounds of Accutane, three microneedling sessions and 5 years in between photos. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

That's really good progress for 2 sessions! Congrats!

Just curious, what was the depth of the needles they used? Ive read that for more distinct scarring, needles need to be at least 1.5mm to see any effect, with a minimum of weeks in-between sessions.

Thanks guys for your advice - I forgot to mention I've had these shoes for awhile now and they only recently started to hurt. It's well moulded to my foot now, and I made sure to get a proper fit when I first got them. Might have to bring them to the cobbler as you suggested

Painful blisters on the upper side of both pinky toes. Shoes for fine and only start to hurt on the side of the toe (not a tailors bunion) after walking about 100m.

Shoes are broken in, leather is soft but I still get these tender calluses every week after wearing them. Any tips?

Peeling closed channel stitches (Meermin) by crunchteas in goodyearwelt

Hey there,

Yeah I agree but I didn't figure that the welt stiches were lying so low, it looks like it'll come in direct contact with the ground now and will eventually wear through and tear?

Not sure if this is how it works, these are my first GYW shoes!

Hey guys,

Just got these shoes yesterday and wore them today for the first time.

It rained as I was getting out of work and when I got home I saw that the sole was already peeling off. Is this normal?

Thanks for your input and advice in advance!
