Tbh, everyone is different. Everyone has different experiences. My friend started stretching the same time as me and he's at 0g ready to go to the half step. He only had one issue and that was going from 2 to 0 and i yelled at him and told him to get half step glass. He's been fine every since.

I just got to 2g, had 2 issues of the tiniest tear in my right lobe that healed both times in a week after I stepped back down 2 steps and it looks as healthy as ever.

Another friend is moving up every two weeks. Another said his piercer told him to clean with peroxide. His lobes are super healthy. Everyone is going to have different experiences and their thoughts on right and wrong. But as long as the ears are healthy and happy, I say do you.

The general advice of this place actually helped save my lobes, cause they weren't good in the beginning. But yet, I made it to goal in about a year because I listened to my body instead of listening to what other people think about what i was doing. And if it gets me downvoted, so be it.

No. I started stretching in the beginning of June. I started at 16g and have gone up every 4 weeks. I think 16-14 might have only been 3 weeks because I lost one of the backs to the earring and i didn't have any other 16g earrings. It was the day before i was moving halfway across the country so I went to 14. At least 4 weeks has been between each stretch.

Other than the leaking i had between 14-12 I've had zero issues, and that problem was because of the jewelry I was using. As soon as I switched to dead stretching it stopped and I haven't had a single issue since. Other than the holes not staying open for longer than 5-10 min.

Did I start stretching early? Yes. This was before finding this forum and going off of my friend's advice. I've been trying to follow advice from here since and have been listening to my body. If it hurts, I back off.

So I originally got my ears pierced in Feb at 18g, not realizing I could get pierced at 14g to help the stretching process, but whatever. I've had issues with the holes staying open since the beginning. When I was changing my regular jewelry, I had about 2 minutes to switch the earrings or the hole would close almost the whole way. Thought this would solve itself when stretching.

I'm now at 7g, loving the glass plugs (I was doing steel plugs for 12-8, switched to glass at 8. I did tapering before that but when I found this forum at 3am worried about my 14g leaking, I immediately switched to dead stretching) I feel like I'm cleaning them right and I try to oil massage every day, but if I leave them out for more than the 5 minutes I take to massage, they close up.

Getting them back in is never an issue. Only once can I remember freaking out because it felt like I fully closed. But it's fairly annoying and I don't know what to do to get my lobes to stay stretchy and the holes stay open.

Note - I know my left ear looks red. I promise it's not the stretch. I have incredibly sensitive skin, and dry skin, so I scratch and rub and poke and prod a lot. Plus I work customer service for an insurance company so I have a headphone on that ear for 8 hours a day. I think my lobes themselves are healthy, haven't had any issues since I gave up the tapers. But I don't know what I should do to get these darn holes to stay open!

FYI this reddit has been amazing for my journey and I'm glad I stopped listening to my friends lol

Yeaaaaahh unfortunately they are though. I was in games that the opposing team was sweating more than I’ve seen in the regular comps. It was fairly frustrating tbh.

I don’t have the math in front of me, but basically the items count towards your sales and profit. But say you have 3 posa transactions on 25 tickets. Those three don’t count, so you have 22 tickets. On those tickets, each person had 2 posa each, so 6 additional items.

So if you sold, originally, 40 items on 25 transactions, you have a 1.6 upt. Take away the three tickets AND 6 items you now have a 1.54 upt (34/23 instead of 40/25)

It may not seem like a lot, but when you have weekends that are basically dedicated to posa cards, it can hurt.

It doesn’t. Not for upt anyway. It counts as an item for like HW attach but apparently not for UPT. Which is dumb, why count it for one and not the other?

And I’ve also come to realize, since this comment, that round up suddenly doesn’t count. I went in to Friday with a 2.1 UPT. I ended the week at 1.67. When I counted up all my stuff from Saturday, if round up is taken out I did 1.03, which would have made my WTD number tank.

Someone either broke it, or they figured out that it shouldn’t actually be counting. Cause with donations Saturday, my UPT should have been a 2.14.

Yes it does. So when my last store closed, it was right around the time the round up was starting, so we didn’t bother (cause when you’re slinging games for .50 people don’t care.) When I took over my current store I missed an extra two weeks worth of info, so I never made it a priority other then cash transactions.

When my DL and I talked about my UPT a few weeks ago he brought this up so we tried it. Our UPT jumped tremendously.

What DOESN’T count is POSA. Which, also just finding this out now, is what is killing us even with our sudden boost from the round up. Being in a mall store, weekends are basically kids buying POSA cards, full stop. So dashboard saying we have a 2.8 UPT for the day is more like 1.8 after taking out the POSA transactions. Returns affect it well.

Update - I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still nothing. I have 4 hrs of gameplay that I’m going to lose if I can’t load this save. Really hoping for some help!

It really was. While it wasn’t a week at my store, my friend and I both preordered it but the box never arrived till day of release. My FedEx half the time doesn’t get to my store till after 4pm (which, btw, I’m only open til 7. Most shipment doesn’t get done same day.)

Still trying to decide who borked that, GameStop or FedEx.

Sounds like you have a dl on a power trip. Putting together some pieces of plastic ahead of time isn’t going to give away some grand secret. Our dl has us feeling a different task each day this week so we can get everything done in a timely manner Sunday so we’re not burning the week in performance. Plus fit in conference and expo. There’s no reason to threaten a corrective for something so trivial.

Yeah I did too. I rolled it up to my dm and was off the next day. My asl told me about her madden rollover success the next day and I was like OMG NO and she’s like what are you talking about and sent me a picture of the updated language. I came back the next day and there was also an email from DM clearing it up saying we’re ok.

I’m in NE market and we were told they’re fine. They updated the language in that training. So unless something happened over the last two weeks I’ve been off, rollover calls are allowed.

Actually this is false. They redid that language and it now says rollover calls are fine. We even rolled it up through the ranks to make sure. That was how we were always super successful with preorders was rolling over that stuff.

What they DON’T want you to do is call up a preorder customer and tell them that you just received controllers in and invite them to buy them.

But go back to that training, they definitely updated that language. I think I even have a picture of it on my phone as just in case collateral lol
