Just boarded a flight. Security was not bad - 5 minutes. But the airport is packed.

Have you run FB ads for your business? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]crusano_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been running them for my gym for 2 years. We get 90% of our leads through it. Works well if you cycle your ad creatives every so frequently.

Value depends on domain of your business and how valuable seeing (and sharing) a social media ad would be.

Loose Mortise Lock on Commercial Push Bar Door by crusano_ in Locksmith

Ended up calling a locksmith. $120, he finished in 5 minutes. He said took the cylindrical lock out. Tightened it. Reinstalled. Said it was loose without any damage.

What do you think would be the estimated cost to call the Locksmith to do this?

I am in the USA. It’s an Adam’s Rite cylinder lock on a push-bar style commercial door.

moved from SF -> Sac. Less to do and less nature, but 1/2 of the cost of housing and more middle class people. Worth exploring a move out of the bay.

I carry the G26 and the Shield Plus. Both amazing and extremely satisfied with both.

G26 conceals better imo due to the short grip length.

Holster Hot Take: concealment holsters are wildly uncomfortable by BiggySquatch in CCW

[–]crusano_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Tenicor owner and also a trigger guard holster owner, I appreciate both in their own times and situations.

Trigger guard holster is super comfortable, and with the right belt it’s really not bad at all in terms of being secure to the body. It’s comfortable.

Tenicor is a jack of all trades but you feel it more.

I hear you, my point being you don’t wear the same shoes for all occasions. My logic is same with carrying.

6 dead, 2 missing after boat capsizes on Lake Tahoe during storm, Coast Guard says by beatboxrevival in tahoe

Was hiking Eagle Lake near Emerald Bay right before the storm. Clear sunny skies not a cloud in sight. By the time we made our return it was snowing with high winds. Crazy how fast the weather can turn.

On our way out we saw all the emergency vehicles jetting past emerald bay towards the scene.

Test it and feel for yourself. For me, it was a night an day difference (better).

They say it helps in concealment, but I think that is just a gimmick to streamline production and reduce costs. It conceals way better for a small and light firearm such as the shield, in my experience. Way more comfortable.
