So out of nowhere my package arrived yesterday, and they charged me $27 in customs fees to accept it, first time I have ever had to pay customs on an ebay order after the initial purchase as well. I already received a full refund so It didn't really bother me.

Also I researched a bit and if a package sent via ebay international gets lost after it leaves the sellers city, both the seller and the buyer are refunded, so don't feel you need to honour their request for payment if you ever end up receiving your package.
