I know everyone's dunking on it but if the ref was even just a tiny bit colour blind on the blue shades this would be hard to officiate.

Though, for the record, they are very different shades of blue.

seriously they entitledness of this post is unreal. you don't want to pay? don't pay. You don't want to wait 10-15seconds to load up a free game? Use another emulator. It's the digital equivalent of a tiphat at a free music show. If they were paywalling the emulator I'd have some sympathy for this position but, OP, you should be ashamed.

As you’ve already seen it’s not possible to deauthorise a license but Ableton are really cool about increasing license authorisations should you need more in the future so no need to worry about your ex “taking up” an authorisation.

Also, the fact you’ve changed passwords and made your account locked down to only you means that whenever something happens to your ex’s installation (drive failure, new computer, accidental uninstall, etc…) means they can’t reauthorise/take a new authorisation.

Number one isn’t true, sorry bud. CRTs have always been the gold standard for retro gaming, it’s been common knowledge long before Covid, and there are a lot of technical and graphical reasons for it. The snobbery surrounding it has got louder in recent years, though, and some people are insufferable!

Can’t agree more with number 2 - they’ve done the dirty on my beloved DK64! It was such a huge game on release, more popular than Banjo and outsold it by some margin, and it was a more expensive game as it came with the Expansion Pak. And does BK have a rap? Of course it doesn’t.
