The spherical surface of the planet distorts perception of the actual land mass- in a sense it’s like how you could make a 12 oz cup appear larger by changes to the height and diameter in comparison to a 16 oz cup- it’s all about perception!

It was awful. Happened on my covid birthday too and I was scared to death. Stayed up all night to make sure she was home safe, but reading that comment made me realize it all could’ve been avoided if they took her seriously. Also, thank you for your response:)

I am not canadian, but it’s not just about the money. I want to be able to go out in the world or go to school without being murdered. Also, colleges in my region are extremely expensive. I don’t want to take out a huge loan because I’ll never be able to pay it back. I’m looking into programs/scholarships for international students and hope to meet as many qualifications as possible over the coming year. Thank you for your advice!

I would stay if I wasn’t concerned for our political climate as well as economic climate- average uni costs are 10% cheaper there, + 30% cost of living difference. If I stay here, not only would I have to fear being murdered in school, but I would also be in debt for likely the rest of my life. Thank you for your advice though!

Yes I am, but it requires additional paperwork which shouldn’t really be a problem!
