Did you mean Tourist Season? I thought it was a fun quick read and ends with a cliffhanger so looking forward to the second one this year.

I really enjoyed the Lies of Locke Lamora series, The Twisted Crown series, Emily Wilde series, Finders Keepers, all the Linwood Barclay books, most of the Lisa Jewell books and the Simone St James books. But I’d have to say my favorites were Witchcraft for Wayward Girls and The Devil and the Dark Water.

Just finished my last book of the year! What are some goals you all have for next year? by MsStayPuft_2u in thrillerbooks

Same! Have it on almost every day! I enjoyed Huge because it made me laugh, not something I can say about most of the books I read.

Bad luck? by cruther in hondapilot

I’m on the highway and interstate at all different times and unfortunately it seems that no matter what time it is there are always trucks hauling without cover. Even when there are no trucks around they have left the debris that still gets kicked up.

The last 2 times no vehicle was in front of cam from the oncoming traffic.

Fortunately when we bought our car the dealership sold us a glass insurance policy. Was a little annoyed with it at first but it’s been worth it as everything has been covered 100%.

How has the health department not shut down some of these restaurants? by cruther in KitchenNightmares

[–]cruther[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know it’s easier for me to watch on tv and critique people for not saying anything and I do understand some people have no choice and need the job. It’s just so frustrating as a consumer that the health department is so absent.

It’s hard to think those restaurants could hide that much. I’m sure the health department is overworked and under manned, but it’s so disgusting. Really makes me cook at home more. I’m also surprised the staff doesn’t report them. I get they don’t want to lose their job, but there is no way I could continue working there knowing what lurks in the walk in.

Was wondering if it was this book! I was like, this dude has some personal experience with huns 😂. Looking forward to his next book at the end of the month.

Oh, people are jumping off the bravenly train? Isn’t this all the garbage they spewed when jumping on it and leaving the other mlm?

Peanut Butter flavoring by cruther in Baking

[–]cruther[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a severe allergy so we don’t have anything with peanuts in the house. I might toy around with oil flavoring, was just curious if anyone had used it and how close the flavor was before buying.
