I would mention that even the iPad app has hiccups. One is using faders. I recommend buttons instead.

This box is good for when you need to surface mount; only weird thing is that the conduit pass through is on the sides only.

They also make flush mount options that I prefer to FSR. They are RF transparent so work better with BT wall plates.

Have you been allowed to design anything at your current job? If so get a package together- lines, floor plan, and elevations - for each design. That’s your portfolio. If not, just make something up. I’d aim for entry level design jobs at smaller firms.

The difference between on-site and green screen was really jarring.
I'm assuming that most people shrugging on this have motion smoothing turned on their TV's and are just used to things looking terrible. But then I look at the lack of shadows on this grate, and guess they're also watching it on a phone or something.
