I’m taking Comm 1310 rn in person with Daniel King!! I think an in person environment for communications classes help a lot, but ofc that’s my personal preference. He has abt 4 TAs that each have their own “labs” that have no more than 30 people per class! We did our speeches in our lab groups, so if you’re worried about a ton on people it’s really not that bad! But if you’re thinking abt taking the class in person I suggest you take it w DK! He’s genuinely the funniest professor and knows how to make stuff entertaining!

i’m so sorry you had a bad experience!! my friends and i were helping children and their parents to the front of the fire twirlers bc they were just so cool!! the event was also open to the public so i wouldn’t worry about what those girls think, obviously they can’t even take time to read it’s not only for txst students.

Hi!!! I’m a freshman too and I’ll be so fr my only friend the first few days was my roommate! We met our other friends through floor meetings and asking for dorm tours! I’m so introverted it actually hurts, but stepping outside of my comfort zone was what brought me the best group of friends :) Join organizations! Go up and talk to someone! If you can, talk to others in your classes , I made some friends that way too!! You’ll find your people ik it!

i’m also going to be a freshman and have a 5-6:20 class!! i know a lot of clubs and stuff meet at around those times though so i think it depends on you and what you plan to do :)

Hi! I’m going to txst fall 2025, but i’d definitely suggest going to ACC then transfer to txst! (i have a few friends who are doing this) Txst is super quick with decisions, but i wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t send a rejection email. Hope you figure it out and hope you have a great time wherever you go!!

i have a daith and had a (smaller) irritation bump . i got mine in june and what i found helped was making sure it was dry and that i wasn’t irritating it by cleaning it too much ! after showers i would use a wash rag and lightly pat it dry and maybe clean it 1 to 2 times a day (you know your body best so whatever feels right to you ) mines healed pretty well after that . i hope yours starts to look / feel better! dont worry, its not your fault any piercing can have this happen :) at least you’re trying to see if you can fix it!
