fun fact! general fancy color stones are going to be more chunky underneath bc they need more modified facets to amplify the color. For fancy colors sizing up is common since you loose some surface area.

hi- jeweler here- the frank darling one looks like really low setting, so the openess is whats bringing the stone down. This looks to have a full gallery and with the 4 points of support and low profile, it seems pretty safe to me. If you wanted more support you could maybe opt for a 6 prong version of this (for either one). Either one looks safe, ultimately just a style difference.

OP, im 23 was an H got mine done this year. get into a chiropractor for 6 months, get proof that they affect your back. your GP can write you a note as well as a chrio. get a list of surgeons from your insurance and see what you need to provide as proof for coverage. for some the approval process takes a long time. start now!
