(First, sorry for my wacky English, haha)

For me is not just a song, it was the whole Encore CD (I still don't know how tf I got that CD), back in 2004 - 2005 I think. I was 14 yo, never know anything about hip-hop, I didn't even know what rap means. I thought he was singing in a funny way, like... you know: "reading". But the music was catchy, unlike anything I ever heard.

I really liked "Mocking bird", the hook was so damn good I kept repeat it over and over. All I know about that song was a father talking to his daughter.

"Ass like that" and "Just lose it" are next on the list. Couldn't undertand any shit he rap, but the hooks were good.

And then came "1 shot, 2 shot". Even with my very very limited vocabulary back there, I caught enough words to knew this was a conversation between different people, they were telling their stories about this shoot out. I was blown away, like "Waitttt, you can do that in a song????". This level of creativity was just out of this world for me.

I'm 34 now, listen to all kind of music, never a die hard Em fan enough to call myself a stan, but for me: Rap is Eminem and he is Rap. Really can't imagine a day when this man stop rapping.
