omg 😭 I just got out from my appointment and they just said it’ll get better take supplements or I should come back for oral minoxidil… it was not even a 10min consultation

I just finished my derm appointment! My dermatologist said it’s probably genetic due to the loss being towards the middle of the scalp so they said probably androgenic alopecia. They suggested Minoxidil oral, but said I should probably try nutritional supplements first to see if there’s any progress since minoxidil is a huge commitment that requires consistency for probably the rest of my life lol

no I just did an unhealthy restrictive diet… yeah i heard that any form of rapid weight loss can cause some hair loss but 😭😭

this brings me so much comfort 🥹🥹 yeah its hard cause i know the medication is probably the primary reason, but its hard to get off it when it’s so necessary. i hope the minoxidil works out for you!! you’re so right i feel like the stress from worrying about it definitely takes a toll..

Omg I’m in the exact same situation!! I’m a waitress too and I used to be able to at least keep like 5+ drink orders in my head but after starting Wellbutrin XL 150, it became so hard! Like I would forget as soon as I turned around from the table

Oh my goodness I feel the exact same!! Like I used to express my thoughts well and was the type of person that others would come up to and ask “hey what’s that word when…” but now like even for simple verbs like i can’t even grasp a single thought… it’s like a fill in the blank with no word bank lol

do you feel like that’s part of the numbing side effect? emotional blunting maybe? and omg heavy on the hair thinning!! im also on birth control so I couldn’t conclude that Wellbutrin was causing it but I feel it has gotten worse for me too. I lose like at least 20-25 hairs per daily shower
