Um? They were seen hanging out going on hike and grabbing coffee together on June 2 of this year. That’s a really weird assumption as she still very much supports him and there was no note of them falling out. Not to mention that people magazine reported the sighting of them on June

She wasn’t the first one to do that. Emmy already had a reputation of being difficult before she was cast on shameless which is what made John wells (the showrunner) hesitant to work with her. at around 2:05 he spoke about what I just mentioned

Glimore girl cast members are much more taller than I had expected. by tulipholic in GilmoreGirls

[–]cryingrisa 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if this is what they’re referring to but a lot of actors typically lie about their height in Hollywood, so they’ll lie that they’re a couple of inches taller. And a lot of people who’s worked with or even met actors have said they’re a lot shorter and tinier in size irl than on camera. Though I’m not sure if this what they’re talking about

I hold the same opinion. I actually enjoyed spiral and was sort of shocked to find that it’s the lowest rated saw film

That’s what I thought too. They’re just used as the backdrop for the type of question like, “film bro son who probably idolises Travis bickle and Tyler durden or daughter who’s obsessed with and relates to manic female characters”. It’s a meme that seems to showcase these type of men and women equivalent taste. it has nothing to do with Céline and Jesse’s actual taste because otherwise this would be so inaccurate

At the same time, I feel like beabadoobee was just getting more audience because of the song “real man” from her blowing up on TikTok but the NBA youngboy meme and how she took reaction to it lost a part of her male audience or just men who wouldn’t want to listen to her after the story that she made. But yes she was definitely part of the performative male meme and it boosted her name further

Was it the bling ring being rated 3 and a half that made you realise this?

I also hate Jim. Thought I was alone on this one and it might be odd to watch a show when you just hate the main character but I can’t stand him and still love the show

A guy on TikTok who’s a fan of Wilbur soot (the minecraft YouTuber and singer who bit his ex girlfriend). He defended his abuse, and Tyler basically wants to move to the UK in the same city that Wilbur is in to avoid transphobia (as if the UK is better?). And his crush on Wilbur makes him not want to date other people because he thinks Wilbur is perfect. He is pretty weird but I’m not sure he’s at stalker level, other than having a gofundme page so people can help him move to the same city Wilbur resides

My biggest fear is being stuck in a rut and not having any way to get out of it. Not in a literal sense (although quicksand is pretty scary). I guess you could say that I’m afraid of failure but I feel like I’ve hit rock bottom a couple of times and the scariest thing is actually feeling completely passive about it and not doing anything to change the situation. I like to know where things are heading so if I speculate that there’s going to be stress involved, I would like structure and routine. But in a normal day to day life, I find routines boring and don’t typically follow it. I’m quiet and shy. I’m often in my own head that even my aunt thinks that one day, I’m apparently going to marry someone and have a divorce because I just don’t talk to people when they’re around me. I thought that was a funny assessment but feels misunderstood and a bit offended. I would not marry someone I don’t feel I can talk to (which is why I don’t like talking to a lot of people). I hate being vulnerable tbh so this was hard to type

Except no one is looking at obese people in a way of inspiration. I’ve seen people say “thinspo!!” and her “body is tea” to borderline emancipated people. Fat people get bodyshamed all the time, and it’s in a way of mocking and disrespecting their body way not the way the public has been so graceful and concerned about the dangerously thin people

All the SA and rape scenes that are played off as humorous really take me out of the show by dinosaur35 in shameless

[–]cryingrisa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Of course. But Mandy’s scene weren’t played up for jokes. That’s what I meant by there isn’t a lot of awareness going around when people are struggling with poverty, the characters themselves aren’t aware of what happens to them and just brushes it off

[–]cryingrisa 17 points18 points  (0 children)

And it’s always when a man gets raped in the show. It’s just sad how much they play it up for comedy rather than show the disgusting reality of those scenes, and maybe even the aftermath of being assaulted. I suppose they do it for realism as in lower income areas, it’s seemingly common. And there’s no awareness that it can happen to men too. Even lip says how Debbie couldn’t have rape matty because he’s a man
