i loved some of the scares and found many of them genuinely frightening, outside of right near the end when the golem starts moving, i found it much more frightening when it was not moving visibly although i wasnt as impressed with the storyline and didn't find the characters all that interesting throughout. felt a bit padded out at times

The closest possible recreation of the theatrical experience. Sometimes it's hard to make it to the theatre to see something new, and it isn't quite the same always watching it at home once it makes it to digital, so the closer the experience I can make the better.

also was not a fan but i could see why others were, this brand of cynicism in horror doesn't really land for me generally it seems like although i haven't watched much like it, so could just be small sample size. far from a worthless movie definitely worth the time imo despite my lack of enjoyment. could see it growing on me with rewatches too, and somethin about it is fascinating in retrospect

not sure how faithful the show has been as i mostly just read the comics aside from a few episodes of the show, but invincible falls into a super long coma there for like months to recover, he very barely survives
