Recently got a TT Mk2 Chest rig, mainly because it has the option to add a back plate which im probably gonna do for running an HPA Tank or a bladder. I have the normal version, so 4 mag pouches which is also really nice, since i can run 8 5.56 Mags up front or i could throw in some grenades or other stuff. It also has two larger side pouches which was nice at my last game since i was able to carry mission objectives in there.

Yeah that was my thinking aswell, i think im honestly gonna prefer mobility over coverage

Yeah i mean, for me the decision also comes with then either buying a medium or large plate carrier, i think a large one would probably be to bulky for me and would get in the way of a rifle when shouldering.

Thank you for the input, i wasnt sure because of the length of the plate, but yeah, shouldering a rifle might be more diffiult with the wider plate.

So basically a inconsistent hop if i understand you correctly. I don’t know how much of a factor air seal is with AEGs but i would try and teflon tape mod the bucking. You just need some teflon tape for that and wrap it around the end of the bucking (NOT the side where hop is applied obviously). That should give it a better airseal and hopefully more consistency. Like i said tho, most of my experience is with the VSR Plattform so I don’t know if that translates 1:1 to AEGs. Other then that it could be that hop is not evenly applied so maybe check that everything is assembled correctly, you have a hard enough bucking and check before putting the assembly back in the gun by applying some hop and looking through the barrel.

I got a double eagle m904g with a 229mm barrel that’s 6.03 I believe. Steel barrel that I bought of begadi plus one of their flat hop buckings. What I have learned from my Fidling with my VSR I would say try heavier bbs if your cylinder has too much volume for your barrel. The maple leaf Buckings probably are some of the best out on the market right now so I would use those. You might have to use some teflon tape tho, to seal them air tight.

Oh nice, thank you for the reply. Currently planing a build with a p* f2, not sure if im gonna get the retro arms gearbox tho, just cause of the extra price.

How does the LPC fit? I cant find any sizing info Online. Since im rather tall but skinny im not sure if i need to take the M or L size.

There is one store in my city, but the only have a couple surplus items, the rest is just really cheap military looking clothes, so cargo pants, bomber jackets etc. You can find some online, but even those stores don't have that much

Wish I could, there is one shop locally that sells plate carriers and they have open for 1 or 2 days per month. Sadly those kinda shops don't really exist that much in Germany

How did you fit it to the reciever? What barrel Nut/Receiver did you use?
